Meta has released its language model, #LLaMA (Large Language Model Meta AI). A direct response to the LLM boom caused by the release of #ChatGPT, followed by #GoogleBard.
LLaMA can be considered a state-of-the-art language model, just like its competitors, with billions of parameters, allowing it to generate creative texts, solve mathematical theorems, answer reading comprehension questions, and much more.
Like Google Bard, LLaMA is not freely and easily accessible on the internet, unlike ChatGPT. The reason for not being open to the general public was justified by the preservation of integrity and prevention of misuse, which is actually happening in some cases with ChatGPT.
For those interested, commercial use of LLaMA is not allowed at the moment, only for research purposes. And get ready to be patient, as access seems to be quite restricted. According to Meta, access permission will be granted on a case-by-case basis based on academic researchers who must be associated with government organizations, civil society, universities, and research laboratories. As this is research, information for application access can be found in the article published by Meta below.
Finally, we would like to emphasize that although we have decided not to specialize in LLaMA as it is only R&D, we recognize its importance for research and advancements in the area of language models.
At Hop AI, our goal is to use AI in a practical and efficient way, bringing tangible results to our clients in a short period of time. Therefore, for now, we are only implementing customized AI solutions and as far as LLM is concerned, we will continue to deliver only solutions with ChatGPT/GPT-3.
Our focus is to make AI a reality as quickly as possible for our clients.
